Philip Alexander Ruiz, II

Philip Alexander Ruiz, II, age 19, of Hilliard, OH, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, March 26, 2019. Philip was a 2018 graduate of Hilliard Darby High School where he participated in the Concert Choir and was a member of the bowling team. Philip was an avid player of Magic: The Gathering where he made many friends. He loved TobyMac Christian music and enjoyed Mercy Me and Aaron Cole. Music was his passion. Philip was a kind-hearted and generous man who would help anyone. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Jeanetta Eloise Cowen, Alan Edgar Cowen, James Emerson Basham and Manuel C. Ruiz. He is survived by his loving parents Vicky and Philip Ruiz and his brother Jack Dailey, all of Hilliard, his grandmother Jessie Ruiz of Kansas City, KS and his many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00p.m. TUESDAY at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard, OH 43026 (614)-876-1722 where the Rosary will be prayed at 8:00p.m. His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00a.m. WEDNESDAY, APRIL 3, 2019 at ST. BRENDAN THE NAVIGATOR CATHOLIC CHURCH, 4475 Dublin Road, Hilliard, OH 43026. Burial will follow the Mass at Wesley Chapel Cemetery. If they choose, friends may make memorial contributions to Tidd Funeral Home on behalf of the family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home or friends may mail their gift.
