William Murphy

William D. Murphy, age 89, passed away October 1, 2022 surrounded by his family. William was 1953 Hilliard Class President. He was a member of Mason Lodge 748, Royal Arch Mason Chapter 227, 32^nd Degree Scottish Rite, UAW 969, American Legion and Aladdin Temple. William was a retired Manager of Labor Services for Blue Cross/Blue Shield, served in the Korean Conflict, member of DAV and a contributor to Northern Irish Children’s Project. Survived by his wife of 60 years Karen, children Cynthia (Vincent) Maio, John Andrew, Deborah Marie and Michael John, grandson Joshua (Sherry) Noble and several other grandchildren and great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life service will be held October 23, 2022 from 1-4 pm at the Hilliard Moose Lodge.
