Virginia Bentley

Virginia Bentley, age 90, of Hilliard, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 10, 2025. She was born on October 26, 1934, in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Ray and Ada Wallace.

Virginia was a cherished member of Grove City Church of God/Connection Point. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life — she found great joy in worship, attending church, and listening to gospel music. More than anything, Virginia treasured time spent with her family and friends. She had a gift for making everyone feel at home, especially through the warmth of her home-cooked meals, which became beloved traditions during the holidays and special gatherings. Her kindness, generosity, and loving spirit touched all who knew her.

She is survived by her children: Gary Payne (Sheila) of Hilliard, Ohio; Debbie Marcum (Ron) of Darbydale, Ohio; Rex Payne (Valerie) of Oak Hill, Ohio; and Kim King (Jeff) of Booneville, North Carolina, and her sister: Janice Potts of London, Ohio. Virginia was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother whose legacy of love will live on in the hearts of her family.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00 PM at Tidd Funeral Home, 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard, Ohio 43026. Interment will follow at the cemetery in Hilliard, Ohio
