Vincent Leonard, II

Vincent F. Leonard, II, age 83, of Hilliard, passed away October 2, 2026. Preceded in death by loving wife Jeanne, parents Vincent and Leila Leonard. Survived by children, Vincent Leonard III, Cynthia (Dan) Wood, Stephen (Kim) Leonard, Darlene Wright, and Thomas (Kyung) Leonard; grandchildren, Sarah Williams, Joseph Leonard, Allison Leonard, James Wood, Brianna Wright, Thomas Leonard, Michael Wright, Kaitlyn Leonard, Nicky Leonard, Milly Leonard, Emma Leonard, Ryan Leonard; great grandson Ian Williams, nieces and nephew Teesia Watts, Monique Watts, Christine Watts, and Robert Noonan. A longtime college professor at Jamestown Community College, Vincent had a lifelong love of learning and books, particularly science fiction. He was known for his dry sense of humor and had a favorite collection of jokes and stories that those closest to him heard more than once, and often many times. Humor was his way of connecting with people and navigating the world around him, and his familiar jokes became part of what made him uniquely Vince. Family will receive friends from 5pm-7pm on Friday, October 9, 2026 at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026.
