Todd Gregory Moening

With deep sadness and overwhelming love, we share that Todd Gregory Moening passed away, surrounded by his family, after being carried by love through cancer’s vicious storm. He never once complained, facing each day with quiet strength and grace, as he did his entire life.

Left behind is a loving family who will forever carry his spirit forward—his devoted wife of 32 years, Donna; his children Aubrey (Blake) McPheters, Tyler (Casey) Moening, and Tara (Zach) King; his amazing grandsons Beauden and Brooks, who knew him as simply the best Papa; mother in-law, Beulah Harris, and a host of in-laws and extended family that loved him dearly.

Embraced in heaven by his parents, William “Bill” and Nancy Moening; his brother, Wade,his father-in-law, Donald Harris Sr.; brother-in-law, John Harris; and precious granddaughter, Carter McPheters.

Together with Donna, he built a life grounded in love, loyalty, and laughter. He was a proud and loving father who led by example, teaching his children the value of hard work, resilience, and deep, unconditional love. Todd’s legacy is one of strength, loyalty, and quiet determination. He was a provider in every sense of the word diligent, dependable, and always present for those he loved. He showed us the true meaning of devotion, and that love is best measured in the way you show up, and give everything your whole heart.

Todd enjoyed the simple things in life that brought people together—playing euchre, spending time on the golf course, playing frisbee with his furry friend Lincoln and spending time cooking and creating delicious new recipes. But more than anything, he loved being with his family—and they loved being with him.

A celebration of Todd’s life will be held Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at 5:00p.m. at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard, OH 43026 (614)-876-1722 with Reverend Ruth Pribe, officiating. Family will welcome friends before the service from 3:00p.m.-5:00p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations in his honor to Capital City Hospice or St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
