Thomas P. Bagley

Thomas P. Bagley, age 79, of Grove City, Ohio, died Saturday, February 12, 2022.  Tommy was born in Columbus, Ohio, on October 23, 1942 to Charles and Agnes Bagley along with three brothers, Charles (Terry), Mike and Martin Bagley.

Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, Agnes and Charles; brothers Charles, Martin and daughter Tammy.  

Tommy leaves behind his loving wife, Denise; sons, Tom Lutz and fiancé Deanna Kassal, Dominic and Meg Cervi, Joe and Ai Cervi, and daughter Margaret Bagley and her husband, Chris Wyeth.  Additionally, Tommy leaves behind cousins and other close relatives and friends.  Tommy was proud to be called “Pappy” by Nico and Veda Cervi!  

Tommy served his country honorably in the United States Navy from February, 1960 – June, 1980.  His tours included three aircraft carriers, two aviation squadrons and commissioning the USS NASSAU (LHA 4) where he donned his uniform for the last time.  After retiring from the US Navy, as an Aviation Boatswain’s Mate First Class in June 1980, Tommy’s career included various aviation-centric organizations from September, 1980 until 1994.  Lastly, Tommy joined the Hilliard City School District where he worked as a maintenance technician and made many lifelong friends, until he retired in 2014.  

Tommy enjoyed classic Mustang cars and vacationing in Florida with Denise, lounging by a pool and soaking up the sun as much as he could.  

On THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 17, 2022, friends may call from 10:00a.m.-12:00p.m. at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard, OH 43026 (614)-876-1722 where his Funeral Service will immediately follow at 12:00p.m. THURSDAY.
