Steve M. Turner, age 73, of Hilliard, OH passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2024. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on February 14, 1951 to Richard Charles and Betty (Brunson) Turner. He was preceded in death by his parents. Steve is survived by his beloved daughter, Heather (Kyle) Harry; his granddaughters, Alyssa and Adrian Harry; his siblings, Karen Sparks and Jeffrey (Peggy) Turner; his former wife, Phyllis (Louis) Picard; his closest friend, Lowell Taylor; his special Aunt Judy along with nieces and nephews.
Steve was a maintenance tech for Smith’s Medical (formerly Medex) for 42 years. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan. He personified loyalty as a human being and friend. One of Steve’s greatest joys was his daughter, Heather. She meant the world to him. He has left many memories and will be sorely missed.
The family will receive friends at the Tidd Funeral Home 5265 Norwich Street in Hilliard, OH on Monday, June 17, 2024. Visitation from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Service at 1:00 PM, Pastor Larry Burchett officiating. Steve will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens following the service.
