Stephen Stetz

Stephen Anthony Stetz II, 71, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, June 17th, 2026, with his wife by his side. Stephen was born on June 23,1954, in Dayton, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Margaret Stetz. He earned an Associate of Science in Business Administration and Management and a Bachelor of Business Administration, Management & Marketing at the University of Cincinnati where he was a member of the University of Cincinnati swim team. Stephen was a proud member of the Phi Gamma Delta (FIJI) Fraternity where he held numerous offices.

Stephen had a successful career in sales management where he applied his intelligence and personable demeanor. Stephen is most remembered for his love of swimming, his family and storytelling. He loved sitting and talking with his family while passing on stories and knowledge. Many who knew him would say, “Steve was very proud of his family whom he loved and spoke of often.” Stephen accepted Christ in 2026.

Stephen is survived by his wife, Lizabeth Stetz, whom he adored, his three children and their spouses Frederick Stetz II (Susan), Suzanne Graham (Von), and Nathaniel Stetz (Dana), along with 5 grandchildren, Seth Stetz, Eliana Stetz, Rowan Stetz, Grace Graham, and Von “Bo” Graham, his two siblings and their spouses, Karen Girad (Mike) and Jeff Stetz (Ellen), as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will hold visitation at 12:30 p.m. EDT on Friday, July 10th, at Guide Church - North Campus (4770 Britton Pkwy, Hilliard, OH 43026) followed by a church service at 2:00 p.m. EDT.
