Sherry Bauman

Sherry H. Bauman, age 67, of Hilliard, passed away unexpectedly on December 24, 2025.

Sherry was a graduate of Westland High School, Class of 1976. She coached at Fliptastic! Gymnastics for over 20 years, where she influenced many young athletes through her steady encouragement and dedication. She enjoyed photography, her pets and spending time with family and friends, especially at Lake Erie.

Family was central to Sherry’s life. She shared a particularly close bond with her grandson, Maddox, who brought her great joy and purpose. She took great pride in being his grandmother and treasured the time they spent together.

Sherry was known for her kindness and her willingness to help others. She cared deeply about the people in her life and always tried to make sure those around her felt supported and at ease. She always treated everyone with patience and understanding.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Haueisen, in 2024.

Sherry is survived by her father, Fred Haueisen; her husband of 48 years, Mike Bauman; daughters Jamie (Josh) Bauman-Moran and Danielle Bauman; brother Mike (Leondra) Haueisen; grandson Maddox McIntosh; and many relatives, friends, and fur babies.

Family will receive friends from 1:00–2:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard, Ohio 43026, where a Celebration of Life service will follow at 2:30 p.m.
