Sharon "Darlene" Baker

Sharon “Darlene” Baker, age 81, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2025.

She graduated from Triad High School Class of 1961, attended the University of Rio Grande for 3 years. Darlene retired from Western Electric With 26 years of service and moved to Lake Lure, North Carolina for 13 years and returned to Ohio in 2003.

She is preceded in death by parents Raymond and Dorothy (O’Brien) Herron, 2nd husband George Murphy, and 3rd Husband Robert Baker, brother-in-law Bill Watkins, nephew Doug Perry, niece Roxanne Watkins, and great-nephew Jacob Detwieler.

Darlene is survived by her daughter Kimberly Ann Byers, siblings Gene (Barbara) Herron, Brenda (Ed) Perry, Woody (Cindy) Herron, and Gayle Watkins, grandson Cody (Tara) Byers, great-granddaughter Brigitte Byers, and nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Choices for Victims of Domestic Violence.
