Sharon A. Armentrout

Sharon Ann (Corson) Armentrout, 74 of Hilliard, Ohio died Friday, December 17, 2021 at Riverside Methodist Hospital after a lengthy illness. Sharon was born December 6, 1947 in London, Ohio.  She graduated from London High School in 1965.   Sharon loved spending time with her family and spoiling all of them as much as possible. She enjoyed watching westerns, shopping, swimming, gardening, traveling to the beach and going to the casinos.  

She was a member of the VFW Post #4917 and American Legion Auxiliary Post #614. Sharon was a retired real estate agent with RE/MAX Realtors for over 30 years where she made several lifelong friends and relationships. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lois and Ted Corson, Uncle John A Corson, Aunt Roberta Fry, Father-in-law, Nordie Armentrout, Mother-in-law Vivian Armentrout, Sister-in-law Marilyn (Sue) Sheppard, Son- in- law Richard “Tim” Tackett and her beloved dog Gracie.  

Sharon is survived by her loving husband of almost 50 years, Archie Armentrout, Daughters Donna (Nick) Huntzinger, Kym Tackett (Brandon Blain), Grandchildren, Lance Otis, Courteney (Mathew) Robertson, Caleb (Alexis) Kirk, Cameron Tackett, Luke Huntzinger, Anthony Drake and Brittni Stump. Great Grandchildren, Bree, Carter and Carina, Aunt Catherine Corson, several beloved nieces and nephews, special nieces Amy (Josh) Phillips, Candi (Kelly) Naylor, numerous cousins including her “Sissies” Susie, Bev, Becky and Lisa, a host of friends including her gal pals Becky Hornbeck, Carolyn Kesler and Marsha Paquin.

Family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00p.m. MONDAY, DECEMBER 27, 2021 at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard, OH 43026 (614)-876-1722 where her Funeral Service will be held 11:00a.m. TUESDAY, DECEMBER 28, 2021. Burial will follow at Wesley Chapel Cemetery.  The family invites friends to join them after the burial services for a time of food and fellowship at VFW Post #4931, 2436 Walcutt Road, Columbus, OH 43228.
