Scott Frederick Bradford

October 18, 1953 — March 27, 2022

Scott Frederick Bradford, after a prolonged illness went to join his Heavenly Father on Sunday, March 27, 2022.  Scott was born in Greenville, MI on October 18, 1953 but was raised in Belding, MI.  He moved to Central Ohio to attend Franklin University where he met his wife Cheryl at a wedding they had both attended, marrying in 1977 and lasting nearly 45 years.

Over the years, Scott worked at both the Sears Distribution Center and Metatec International.  He was an avid reader and collected enough books to fill a library!  Visiting Michigan was something he looked forward to annually, spending his time sitting by the lake though not necessarily on it.  He also had a special passion for feeding wildlife.

Scott loved watching his grandchildren throughout the years, attending both their school musical and sports events.  He was a passionate member of several sports clubs and thoroughly loved watching movies to include both super-hero as well as kids’ movies though Sci-Fi and old westerns were his favorites.  Scott was kind, compassionate and always had special nicknames for his ‘girls’ (daughters and grandchildren).

He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents Dale and Theda Klock, maternal grandparents Fred S. and Gladys Bradford, parents Charles Edwin Bradford and Donna Klock Bradford, sister Renee Bradford and brother Lance Bradford.

He is survived by wife Cheryl Sue (Dick) Bradford, daughters Becky Bradford Rhoads and Melissa Ann Bradford Allen to include her husband Lt Col Brent Allen, grandchildren Brianna, Abigail, Sara, Owen, Luke, Emma and great grandson Grayson.  Additionally, sisters-in-laws Rose Grambo Stewart, Patricia (Bob) Lee, Joyce (Mike) Curtiss, nephew Jason (Megan) Bradford, niece Carrie (Ben) Craven, great-nephew John Craven.

Scott is also survived by several special friends to include Mark Chapman, Richard (Hawkeye) Pierce, Dave and Debbie Booher, Joe Campbell and Kat Fox.

A private service was held for family to gather and celebrate Scott’s life.  The Tidd Family Funeral Home, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026 (614)-876-1722, assisted the family.  Please visit www.tiddfuneralservice.com to share your favorite memories and to send your condolences to the Bradford Family.
