Samantha Church

Samantha E. Church, age 92, of Plain City passed away Thursday October 12, 2006 at her residence, born August 20, 1914 in Grayson, KY. She was a member of Amity Enterprise Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence; parents, Henry and Nellie Isaacs; daughters, Mary Slack and Mable LeMont, one granddaughter and one great granddaughter; sister, LaRue; brothers, William, Charles, and Wiley; sons-in-law, Richard Keener, Dale Vencl, and Charles Brydle. She is survived by sons, Henry (Norma) Church of Akron, OH, James (Ann) Church of Hommasassa, FL, Fred (Jean) Church of Timmonsville, SC, William ( BillieJean) Church of Davison, MI, and Jerry (Kathy) Church of Plain City; daughters, Margaret Vencl of Austinburg, OH, Alice (Keener) Williams (Don) of Fairmont, WV, JoAnn Brydle of Madison, OH; sons-in-law, Dale Slack and Sid LaMont; sisters, Catherine Knipp of Grayson, KY, Marie (Vernon) Rogers of Grayson, KY, Edith Glancy of Grayson, KY, Ruth Skaggs of Spartanburg, SC and sister-in-law Essie Essie Isaacs of Grayson, KY. She is also survived by 29 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Monday October 16, 2006 from 6-8pm at The Tidd Funeral Home 5265 Norwich St. Hilliard, OH 43026. A graveside service will be held Tuesday at 1pm at Greenlawn Memory Gardens in Ashtabula, OH, with Reverend Jerry Webb officiating.
