Ruth Seibold

Ruth Eleanor (Clouse) Seibold, 96, of Hilliard, OH, passed away peacefully February 28, 2023. She was born June 23,1926 in Mansfield, Ohio. She was predeceased by her husband of 42 years, Richard Seibold, and her brother Robert Clouse. Ruth is survived by her four children, Rick Jacobs (Pam), Fleming Island, FL, Sue Wehr (Greg), Deer Lodge, MT, Michael Jacobs (Christine), Columbus, OH, Dave Seibold (Kay), Louisville, KY. Mrs. Seibold is fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Brian Jacobs (Meryl), St Johns, FL, Forest Wehr (Kate), Deer Lodge, MT, Willow Wehr (Ashley), Deer Lodge, MT, Joshua Jacobs, Columbus, OH, Ashley (Alex) Horan-Jacobs, Cincinnati, OH, Tom Seibold (Savannah), Nashville, TN, Nick Seibold (Caroline), Landstuhl, DE; nine great grandchildren; and two nephews Gary (Shuko) and Ken (Rose) Clouse. Ruth graduated from Mansfield Ohio High School. She and her husband were active in local Rose Societies in both California and Ohio and extensively traveled, especially to National Parks. Ruth was an avid reader of novels, history, and historical novels. She was a very devoted mother and gave her all to her four children and families. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Addus Hope Foundation (Capital City Hospice) may be made in memory of Ruth. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, March 5th, 2023 from 1 PM to 3 PM with a funeral service at 3 PM at TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard, OH 43026. A private family graveside service will be held Monday, March 6th at Mansfield Cemetery, Mansfield, OH.
