Ruth Ducey

Ruth E. Ducey, age 86, of Columbus, passed away at her daughter’s residence September 4, 2008. She was a graduate of Mt. Carmel School of Nursing class of 1943 and a member of St. Simon and Jude Catholic Church. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert "Bob" Ducey; parents, Evans and Mary Elliott; infant daughter, Patricia; and sister Virginia Fleck. She is survived by children, Marsha (Harold) Cartwright, Michael (Pattie) Ducey and Mollie Ducey; grandchildren, Keith (Katie) Cartwright, Kim Presta, Kara (Doug) Strine, Rebecca (Travis) Spinder; and 8 great-grandchildren. The family would like to give a special thanks to Miriam Hochstetler, Molly McVicker, Mt. Carmel Hospice and Dr. Michael Cooney & staff. Friends may call Wednesday from 10-11am at St. Simon and Jude Catholic Church 9530 High Free Pk West Jefferson, OH 43162 where a Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11am.
