Russell N. Cunningham

Russell N. Cunningham, age 60, born December 19, 1963, passed away December 3, 2024. Russell was a Godly servant; he served the Lord, his wife and children, his parents and in-laws, and his clients with eagerness and great care. His family knows well his integrity, wisdom, brilliance, generosity, kindness, devotion, patience, and enthusiasm for helping and solving any problem. Friends appreciated his surprising wit, kindness, and thoughtful words, frequently commenting on his strength and courage and quiet but obvious faith. Clients and colleagues appreciated his kindness, gentleness, and precision. Russell set an example to all who knew him of unwavering trust in God and His sovereignty, believing in all circumstances in the goodness of God and having gratitude toward Jesus for His sacrifice. Russell graduated from The Ohio State University Summa Cum Laude 1986, Case Western Reserve University School of Law Summa Cum Laude 1989, Partner Barrett, Easterday, Cunningham, and Eselgroth LLP. Russell courageously and with tremendous faith and trust in God fought many serious health challenges over the years. He is survived by a family who admired and loved him deeply - wife Lisa and daughters Emily, Margaret (Maggie)(fiancé Gideon) and Betsy; father Clarence J. Cunningham; brother Larry (JoAnne) Cunningham and their children and spouses; and in-laws from the Dentler family. Family will receive friends from 2pm-4pm Sunday, December 8, 2024 at Ark Church of Dublin, 5762 Wilcox Rd., Dublin, OH 43016; where funeral service will follow at 4pm. A graveside service will be held 1pm Monday, December 9, 2024 at Wesley Chapel Cemetery, 3225 Dublin Rd., Hilliard, OH 43026.
