Ruskin Hartley II

Ruskin Jay Hartley II (Russ), age 69, passed away on November 9, 2022. He was
born on December 1, 1952, in Cambridge, Ohio to Marjorie and Ruskin Hartley.

Russ enjoyed golf and everything associated with it. He played many different
courses, and could tell stories about each. He loved History and could talk for
hours on many topics; especially the early days of Columbus.

Russ enjoyed several hobbies, including gardening, home projects, reading and
bread making. However, his greatest love, was for his wife and family. He loved
that his kids were close and just a few steps away. Often, he could be found
enjoying pizza, or coffee on the porch with them.

He is survived by his loving wife of almost 48 years, Marilyn (Immelt) Hartley;
Children, Lauren (Matt) Hartley and Russ Hartley III (Andrea), grandchildren Grey
and Finn Hartley, sisters MaryAnne and Shelby Hartley; as well as many other
cousins and relatives. All will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his brother Mike Hartley and parents Marjorie and
Ruskin Hartley.

In honoring Ruskin’s wishes, the family will hold private services. In lieu of
flowers, donations to Ohio’s Hospice of Central Ohio, are welcomed.
