Ross Huffman

Ross Huffman, age 90, of Hilliard, Ohio, passed away on February 2, 2026.  He was born on October 28, 1935, to the late Richard and Violet (Sayre) Huffman, in Chester, West Virginia.

Ross is a proud veteran who served in the United States Navy, he loved spending his winters in Florida, always enjoyed a good game of golf, and greatly enjoyed cruising the Caribbean.  Ross had a beautiful singing voice and loved to be able to share it with others, but there was no greater joy than getting to spend time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and being able to watch them play sports.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Violet (Sayre) Huffman, his brother, Dean Huffman and sister-in-law, Jan Huffman, grandmother, Lettie Mae Sayre as well as his grandfather, Samuel Sayre.

Ross is survived by his beloved wife, Loreda Huffman, his daughters, Vicky Ater and Lisa Serafini, grandchildren, Lindsey Alban, Matt Ater, Nick Patterson, Kelley Deasey, and Shawn Patterson, great-grandchildren, Jack Alban, Sophia Alban, Charles Alban, Henry Alban, Grant Alban, Liam Deasey, Niall Deasey, Isla Deasey, and Zoey Patterson.

Family will be hosting a visitation at the Tidd Family Funeral Home, 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard, Ohio, 43026, on Monday, February 9, 2026, beginning at 5:00PM and ending at 7:00PM.  The funeral service will be held the following day, Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at the same location, beginning at 12:00pm. We will then go in procession to Forest Grove Cemetery.
