Ronald Roadcap

Ronald Stephen Roadcap, age 79, of Hilliard, passed away August 5, 2025. U.S. Army Reserve for 6 years. He was a member, past Commander and Chaplain of the American Legion, Post 144, Southway Columbus and Sons of Confederate Veterans, General Roswell Ripley Camp 1535. Retired with 38 years of service from Big Bear and Worthington Schools as a bus driver for 14 years. Ronald was a former member of Columbus Jaycees, enjoyed riding motorcycles and blue grass music. Preceded in death by parents Homer and Coleen Roadcap, many loving relatives in Staunton, VA area, nephews Patrick (Stephanie) Morgan and Vincent (Ellen) Roadcap, great nephew Cyrus Roadcap. Survived by brother Gerald L. (Patricia) Roadcap of Hilliard, special friends Park, June Ann and Jeanne. Family will receive friends Thursday, August 14, 2025 from 4pm-5pm at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026; where a celebration of life service will follow at 5pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Legion Post 144 Southway Columbus, 3253 High St., Columbus, OH 43207.
