Roger Lee Massie, of Hilliard, OH, passed away peacefully at his home on January 26, 2026. He was born August 8, 1944. Roger was the youngest of 11 children born to Maxi (Adams) and Charles Massie. Preceded in death by wife Christy Mea (Weaston) Massie, 10 brothers and sisters, Dorthea Riffe, Richard Massie, Margaret Pancake, twin brothers Ronald and Donald Massie, Ruthann Henderson, Kenny Massie, Robert Massie, Catherin Daley and Barbara Skaggs. Roger was a volunteer fireman for Norwich Township when it was first established in Hilliard, OH. He worked with his brothers in construction. Roger was an electrician with States Electric for 25 years. He also enjoyed working at Zonker Brothers Landscaping. He enjoyed traveling all over the United States and spending time at Lake Erie in the summers and winters in Pensacola, FL with his beloved partner in life of 30 years, Sally Barclay. He loved putting his puzzles together and enjoyed tipping back a few brewskis with all his good friends. He was a generous, caring, kind and loving man. Roger is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. At Roger’s request, no flowers please. Please donate to your favorite charity in Roger’s memory. Family will receive friends from 10am-12pm on Friday, January 30, 2026 at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026; where funeral service will follow at 12pm. Interment Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
