Robert Dennis Timmons

Robert Dennis Timmons, age 80 years, of Hilliard, OH, passed away January 12, 2023 at Kemper House.  Born July 15, 1942 in Columbus, OH; he was the youngest of two children born to Kenneth K. and Stella M. (Davis), Timmons.  Bob was a proud 1960 graduate of West High School; a lifelifelong long member of the Scioto Boat Club and loved taking family and friends on boat rides on his beloved boat (Lazytooner).  He was also a member of the American Legion.  He loved spending winters in North Port, FL, boating with friends and neighbors of Lazy River Village.  Bob began his working career at Timco Truck Bodies which led to opening his own business Timfab Truck Body Repair.  He was also an avid bowler and shared ownership with his father of Stardust Lanes (Grove City), and Countryside Lanes (Hilliard).  He held a real estate license for a number of years then became an appraiser for Franklin County, OH until retirement in 2010.  Bob was preceded in death by his father - Kenneth K. Timmons and mother - Stella M. Timmons; sister - Nancy Reed; son Kenneth Timmons; and step-daughter – Lori Rinehart, He leaves behind his wife of 48 years – Judith (Judi) Timmons; daughter – Debbie Rafeld (& Tim)/Delaware, OH; stepson – Keith Rinehart (& Beth)/Galloway, OH; 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, a niece, nephew, cousins and many friends.  Friends may visit Tidd Funeral Home (Hilliard, OH) on February 4^th.  Visitation starting at 1:00pm, with a memorial service following at 3:00pm with Pastor Edward Engelbrecht officiating.  (Private burial at Green Lawn Cemetery) In lieu of flowers, please contribute to Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 80 E.
