Robert "Bobby" Hildebrand

Robert “Bobby” Lee Hildebrand, 32, of Hilliard, Ohio, passed away April 25, 2025, from injuries sustained after being struck by a vehicle while walking in Hilliard.

He was born on February 16, 1993, in Westerville, Ohio to Ron and Carleen (Murray) Hildebrand. Bobby was a beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend.

He graduated from Hilliard Davidson High School and went on to attend Ohio University and The Ohio State University specializing in chemistry. He was a hard worker and held positions at Dairy Queen, Ohio University, The Ohio State University, and Target.

He was known for his kindness, politeness, caring nature, and great sense of humor. In his younger years, he enjoyed hockey and roller blading. Bobby will be remembered for his love of Christmas, music, and reading.

He is survived by his parents Ron and Carleen (Murray) Hildebrand; sisters Caroline (Kyle) Kingston and Catherine (Christopher) Taylor; brother Richard “Ricky” Hildebrand; nephew Archer “Archie” Taylor; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and their children.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Thomas & Ellen Murray and Harold & Martha Hildebrand.

Funeral services will be held at Tidd Funeral Home, 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard, Ohio 43026. The family will greet friends and relatives on Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 1:00 p.m.- 3:30 p.m. with a memorial service from 3:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, his family requests donations be made to the Hilliard Branch of the Columbus Metropolitan Library, where Bobby served on the Teen Advisory Board and as a “Volunteen” for many years.
