Randall Hipsher

d. September 16, 2021

Randall “Randy” Lee Hipsher, age 66, died peacefully in the arms of his wife on Thursday, September 16, 2021, at their home in Hilliard, OH, after a courageous and lengthy battle with Metastatic Liver Cancer.

Randy retired in 2020 from the City of Columbus Code Enforcement. Preceded in death by his Mother: Ruth I. Paynter, Niece: Ashley Billingsley. Besides spending time with his family and friends, Randy’s passion was his Music, The Beatles and the Cleveland Browns. You could find Randy in his studio for hours mixing and playing music. Randy was so proud of his new acoustic guitar, which he had recently received from France. His newly released piece of music (Question Answer) will be played in his honor, as we celebrate his life together. Randy’s creative soul, goofiness, kindness and love for everyone will be so terribly missed. What you saw in Randy, was exactly what you got, that’s our Randy and our hearts are broke.

Survived by his loving wife Pattie, Children: Keristin (Brian) Schnurbusch, Derek (Alisha) Heifner, Granddaughters: Aly, Hannah, and Ella, Sister: Michelle Paynter, Beloved and Doting In-laws: Bill and Pat Buchholz, Brother-in laws: Bill (Diane) Buchholz, Bob (Ann) Buchholz, Sister-In-laws: Debbie (Jim) Jester, Kathy Rinkes, Cheri (Steve) Gerdes, Theresa (Mike) Hudson, Kim (Tony) Nugen, along with many loving friends, nieces and nephews. And of course, Randy’s very very best friend, Michael Kundla, better known to all of us, as his brother.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Randy’s Life from 5-7 pm Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at the Tidd Family Funeral Home located at 5265 Norwich St, Hilliard, OH.

In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to consider a memorial contribution to The James Cancer Hospital Solove Research Institute of Columbus or Hospice of Central Ohio.
