Ralph Bickel, Sr.

Ralph L. Bickel, Sr., age 86, of Hilliard, passed away March 17, 2013. U.S. Army Veteran. Retired electrician with I.B.E.W. Local #683; where he was a member for 69 years. Member of United Midget Racing Association for 53 years. Preceded in death by loving wife of 50 years Liz 1997, brother Kenny, sister Lavanna and brothers-in law Sammy, Jimmy and Andy Margello. Survived by sons Ralph (Jan) Bickel, Jr. and Jerry (Michelle) Bickel, brother Bill (Nancy) Bickel, grandchildren Shaun and Amanda, great grandson Sage, brother-in-law Carmen Margello and numerous loving relatives and friends. Family will receive friends 6-8 pm Thursday at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026. A Graveside service will be held 10 am Friday at Northlawn Memory Gardens, Westerville, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
