Philip R. Gano

Philip R. Gano, age 78, of Hilliard, Ohio, died at home on Saturday, October 22, 2022.  Born in Williamstown, WV to the late William and Caroline Gano, Philip was a graduate of Whitehall-Yearling High School, Class of 1961.  He retired from the City of Hilliard Maintenance Department after many years of service.  A veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Phil was a member and past Commander of American Legion, William R. Schnug Post # 614, Hilliard and the Hilliard Moose Lodge #2236. He enjoyed boating and camping and spending time with his family and friends.  Philip is survived by his wife Linda, son Brian (Keitha) Gano, daughter Tami Gano, son Roy (Jodi Schneider) Hanna, daughter Krista (Doug) Nelson, his grandchildren: Gage (Allee) Gano, Jim Gano, Gina (Bentley) Peed, Heather McNamee, Xavier Nelson, Megan Nelson, his great-grandson Barrett Gano and his pets Toby and Tucker. 

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 1:00p.m.-4:00p.m. on SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 13, 2022 at the Hilliard Moose Lodge, 5370 Grace Street, Hilliard, OH 43026.  Casual attire is requested.
