Pete J. Pennell

Pete Pennell, age 89, of Hilliard, Ohio, passed on Sunday, March 7, 2021 at Doctor’s West Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Born in Logan, Ohio to the late Frank and Mary Pennell, he was the last of their eleven children. Pete was a graduate of Logan High School, Class of 1950. After graduating, Pete joined the United States Navy and honorably served until 1954. After his service in the Navy, Pete worked for Midland-Ross Corp, Janitrol Division in a career that spanned 40 years. He retired in 1992. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan and loved his gardening. Pete would always give his friends his abundance of tomatoes and cucumbers that he took great pride in growing. In addition to his parents, Pete was preceded in death by his beloved granddaughter Jenny Miller. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Joyce Pennell, his children Keith (Delena) Pennell, Jay (Terri) Pennell, Chuck Williams, Diana (Kenny) Legander, Susan Miller, Steven Williams, Michael Williams, his nine grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and his many wonderful friends and neighbors.
