Paul Michael

Paul W. Michael, age 85, of Columbus, passed away December 29, 2020. US Army Veteran. Graduate of The Ohio State University where he was Co-Captain of the football team in 1956. Paul played with the 1954 Championship team and was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. He was a second draft pick for the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1957. Paul retired from Chaco Credit Union as President and was also President of the Ohio Credit Union League. Preceded in death by parents Paul and Marie Michael, brother Richard Michael. Survived by loving wife of 61 years Gerry, children Tanya (Tom) Mathews, Craig Michael and Susan (Cricket) Michael, sister Rita (Jim) Matz, grandchildren Alex (Jon) Dorsey, Olivia (Jacob) Carter, Ellie Mathews, Alison (Jen) Michael, Abby (Casey) Brooke, Sarah Michael, Paul Regner and Andrew Regner, 6 great grandchildren, numerous loving relatives and friends. Family will receive friends Thursday, January 7, 2020 from 5-7 PM at The TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME WITH CREMATORY, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026.
