Patricia Anne (Wolfendale) Mahan

Patricia (Patty) passed away on October 4th, 2025, to be with the Lord in her forever home. She was born on July 19th, 1930.

Patty spent her 95 years in Columbus, Ohio and was proud of her English roots.

Patty's life was dedicated to her family and friends. She was always there for everyone and will be remembered for her kind and generous heart. Patty always had a smile and hug for anyone who crossed her path.

She was a proud 1948 West High School graduate and was married to Kenny, her high school sweetheart, for 74 years. Patty had life-long friendships from high school and through her involvement with neighbors, Glenwood Methodist Church, euchre card clubs, and The Columbus Convention Bureau.

Patty was a loving and caring mom who raised 2 daughters, Julie and Jeanne. She was a 44-year breast cancer survivor and felt blessed to spend time with her 3 grandkids and 6 great grandkids.

Throughout her years, Patty enjoyed gardening, sewing, reading a book, crossword puzzles, listening to a rainstorm, beach visits, or sitting poolside with her family.

Patty is survived by her husband, Kenny, daughter, Julie (Steve), grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Jeanne.

Patty's family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Traditions of Hilliard for the incredible care and kindness that they gave to Patty during her time there.

The family will be holding a visitation and funeral service at the Tidd Family Funeral Home, 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard, Ohio, 43026. The visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12, 2025, beginning at 2:00PM and ending at 4:00PM. The funeral service will be the following day, on Monday, October 13, 2025, and will start promptly at 12:00PM. Following the service, we will go in procession to Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
