Patricia J. Jennings

On March 17, 2022, Patricia Ann Jennings, 80, passed away suddenly at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She was surrounded by family as she went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. 

Pat is survived by her husband of thirty-two years, Randolph “Randy” Jennings of Delaware, Ohio; her daughter, Carre Anderson (Rick); son, Rusty Hellen (Amy); stepdaughter, Karen Jennings; brother Donald "Don" Earl Jones (Nadine); grandchildren Ashley Henry (Coty), Brett Killeya (Chris), Calla Audrele Anderson (Andrew Baker), Chloe Hellen, and Avery Hellen. Nana Pat also had five great-grandchildren: Kinsley, Molly, Cohen, Colson, and Annie June. She was preceded in death by parents, Philip and Alma Jones; brother Freeman “Buddy” Jones; and stepson, Steven Jennings.

Pat was born on February 20, 1942, in Memphis, Tennessee. She graduated from South Side High School in 1960. She went on to become a secretary at Memphis City Schools. She later moved to Enid, Mississippi and eventually settled in Westerville, Ohio. 

She was a member of Grace Church in Powell, Ohio and volunteered at Grace Clinic Delaware and ESL. Pat was very involved with her bible study group, BSF. She honored God by serving others and felt it was a joy no matter the task. Through conversation and connections, she was able to spread Christ’s love.

Pat’s life verse:

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” (Proverbs 3:5-6)

A graveside burial ceremony will be held at Galena Cemetery, 255 N Walnut Street, Galena Ohio 43021 at 11:00 AM April the 9^th, 2022. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Grace Clinic Delaware.
