Opal Bauman

Opal Bauman, age 92, of Hilliard, formerly of Toledo, OH, passed away August 20, 2022. Born on June 24, 1930 in Zavalla, TX to Roy and Ida Bentley. Opal attended nursing school in Houston and was an LPN in both Texas and Ohio. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, traveling and spending time with her family and grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband Donald Bauman, parents Roy and Ida Bentley, son Darryl Bauman, sister Bertha (Albert) Ferguson, brothers George (Lorena) Bentley and Doyle (Jo) Bentley and brother-in-law J.D. Russell. Survived by daughter Cheryl (Anthony) Schroeder, grandchildren Kyle and Tyler Schroeder, daughter-in-law Donna Rhodes Bauman, sisters Lucille (Don) Boardman and Imogene Russell, and many nieces and nephews. Following Opal’s wishes, cremation will take place and she will be buried next to her husband in Toledo.
