Natasha Brown

Natasha B. Brown (93) passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2023.  Natasha was born in Nakatsu, Japan on August 22, 1930.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Captain Harold A. Brown (1923-1984); her parents, Boris and Eugenia Terentieff; and her mother, Tamara Trent.  Natasha is survived by her beloved daughter, Mary Ellen Hayes; her grandson, Lt. Col. Dion (Laurie) Grener; her great grandchildren, Terri Waller, Shannon Grener and Brady Grener; and her great great grandchildren, Brian Waller, Oliver Waller, and Charlotte Waller; and her brother, Major Alex (Eileen) Trent along with many nieces and nephews. 

Natasha personally wrote for this moment, “As the sun sets in my life and I am escorted to my final resting place, I ask my family not to grieve for me, but to remember the wonderful years we enjoyed.  It has been a good life and I thank God for the many blessings.”

A special thanks goes out to Michelle and the staff at Carolyn’s Cottage.  Your skilled and selfless service was such an encouragement over these last days.

The family will receive family and friends for Natasha at the Tidd Funeral Home, 5265 Norwich St. in Hilliard, OH on Monday, January 15, 2024 at 11:00 am with a celebration of her life immediately afterwards at 12:00 pm.  Natasha will be privately laid to rest at the Green Lawn Cemetery in Columbus, OH.
