Nancy L. Wells

Nancy Lee (Skinner) Wells, 89, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2025, after a 3-year struggle with Vascular Dementia. Up until the end Nancy maintained her delightful personality, politeness, and love for family and friends. She enjoyed a life full of wonderful and varied experiences and activities.

Nancy’s life included active participation in the Clintonville Woman’s Club and the North High School (Columbus, Ohio) Polar Bears Alumni Association where she was a proud Polar Bear from the Class of 1954. Nancy was always ready for a good game of Bridge, attending a symphony performance or socializing with others.

Nancy is survived by her son John (Gina) Wells of Fort Myers, Florida, daughter Regina (Dan) Allen of Columbus, Ohio, sister Judith (Frank) Lageman of Westerville, Ohio, grandchildren Anthony Allen, Hillary Allen, Brandi (Richard) Woodruff, great grandchild Hunter Woodruff, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her Father Edgar W. Skinner, Mother Ruth A. (Bringardner) Skinner, and Husband Richard L. Wells, whom she met while they attended Columbus North High School before being married.

Memorial donations may be made to National Church Residences Hospice Care, 2245 N. Bank Dr, Columbus, Ohio 43220. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff of Friendship Village of Dublin and National Church Residences Hospice Care for their support and care during Nancy’s end of life journey.

The family will receive friends for a visitation on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard, Ohio, 43026.  The visitation will begin at 6:00PM and end at 7:00PM.  The funeral Mass will be held the following day, Thursday, November 6, 2025, at St. Joseph Cemetery, 6440 South High Street, Lockbourne, Ohio.  The Mass will begin at 9:00AM.
