Nancy Simcox

Nancy Brook Simcox, age 89, from central Ohio and formerly of Hilliard, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, surrounded by her family. She was born in Columbus on January 26, 1937.

She is preceded in death by parents, Paul Williams and Dolly Graves, her brother Tom Williams, and her son, Jon Simcox.

She is lovingly survived by Delmar, with whom she shared 66 years of marriage, as well as her children, Rhonda Nancy Mitchell, and Linda Brook Stottlemyer, her brother, Frank (Ann) Williams, and her sisters-in-law, Maxine (Heino) Simovart and KyleAnn Williams. She is also survived by her beloved five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Nancy retired from Friendship Village, Dublin, Ohio, in 1994, where she dedicated many years of hard work. Outside of her career, she found joy in the simple but meaningful things in life. She loved travelling, flower gardening, shopping, decorating, and garage sales. She and Delmar traveled to and spent time engaged in mission work in Alaska, Botswana, Mexico, Switzerland, and Venezuela.

Nancy’s favorite Bible verses are Philippians 4:6-7 (NIV): 6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Graveside interment service to be held at Wesley Chapel Cemetery, 3225 Dublin Rd., Hilliard, OH 43026, on May 29, 2026, at 11:00AM.
