Michael Shaw

Michael Fredrick Shaw, age 60, of Columbus, passed away on January 24, 2024. He was born on June 18, 1963, in Columbus, to Fredrick Earl Shaw and Noretta (Gibson) Shaw. Michael (Mike) was a member of Maize Manor United Methodist Church in North Columbus. Mike graduated from Brookhaven High School in 1981. He enjoyed playing golf and was an avid fan of the Columbus Blue Jackets and the Minnesota Vikings.

Mike was preceded in death by his father in 2022. He is survived by his mother, Noretta, his brother Dennis, Sister-In-law, Cynthia; nephews, Thomas and Tyler, and niece, Sierra.

In memory of Mike, donations are welcome to organizations he contributed to over the years, including Maize Manor United Methodist Church, Doctors Without Borders, Special Olympics, and Operation Smile.
