Michael Murray

Mike Murray, 73, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on December 1, 2024, after a long struggle with congestive heart failure and diabetes.

Mike was born September 5, 1951, to Edward and Josephine Murray in Columbus, Ohio. Mike graduated from Hilliard High School in 1969.

In 1967 Mike met Susan at a 4-H meeting to which they both belonged and married in 1987. Mike and Susan did not have any children but were involved with many nieces and nephews throughout the years.

Mike’s Harley Davidson and old cars were his passion. He loved going to old car shows, laughing and telling jokes with lifelong friends and spending time on the weekends riding his motorcycle with friends.

Mike was predeceased by his mother and father, Edward and Josphine Murray, Marshall Murray (brother), Marilyn Kelly (sister), Henry Kelly, Jr. (nephew), Scott Clemmons (nephew) and Paige Clemmons (niece). He is survived by sisters, Tony Eberhard, Dianne Mack, Patrice Clemmons Stephens, and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at Tidd Funeral Home on a date to be announced in January. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, Capital Human Society, 3015 Scioto Darby Executive Court, Hilliard, Oh 43026 or Mount Carmel Hospice, 777 West State Street, Columbus OH 43222.
