Mary P. Stage

Mary P. Stage, age 82, of Mt. Sterling, OH, went home to the Lord and met her Savior on Friday, May 10, 2019.  Born to the late Hugh and Nevada Collins, Mary married John William Stage, Jr. in 1950.  Along with 17 others, Mary was one of Mt. Sterling's first EMT's in 1975.  She was a long-time member of Mt. Sterling Church of Christ in Christian Union.  In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her brothers Leroy, Delbert and Kenny and by her sister Corrine.  She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, John William Stage, Jr., her children: Carol (Greg) Westfall of Pigeon Forge, TN, Mike Stage of Mt. Sterling, John William Stage, III of Columbus, OH, Mark (Cindy) Stage of Grove City, OH, Rose (Russell) Tope of London, OH, Donna (George) Miller of Pigeon Forge, Aaron (Amber) Stage of Pigeon Forge and Minnie Callaway of West Jefferson, OH, also by her numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her many friends and her loving church family at Mt. Sterling Church of Christ in Christian Union.  Family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00p.m. TUESDAY at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331 West Main Street, Mt. Sterling, OH 43143 (740)-869-2777 and again from 10:00a.m.-11:00a.m. WEDNESDAY, MAY 15, 2019 where her Funeral Service will follow the visitation and begin at 11:00a.m. WEDNESDAY with Reverend John Burr, officiating.  Burial will follow at Pleasant Cemetery, Mt.
