Mary Heimbush

Mary Heimbush (Grubbs), age 88, of Plain City, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, March 27, 2017. Life member of St. John Lutheran Church of Dublin and member of the Ruth Circle. Mary retired from Lab Corp. and spent her free time knitting blankets for Project Linus. Preceded in death by parents Christian and Lena Grener, husbands Howard J. Heimbush and Homer E. Grubbs, brother Kermit, sister Norma and Alice Hines. Survived by son Steve (Peggy) Heimbush, sister Florence Rings, grandchildren Donald (Katherine) Perry, Jon (Jackie) Heimbush, Greg (Brandi) Heimbush, Stephanie (Seth) Heimbush, five great grandchildren and numerous loving relatives and friends. Family will receive friends 5-7 pm Thursday at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026; where funeral service will be held at 1 pm Friday with Rev. John E. Greig officiating. Interment Sunset Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John Lutheran Church, 6135 Rings Rd., Dublin, OH 43016.
