Mary M. Deeks

Mary (Montgomery) Deeks, age 102, of Dublin, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 12, 2026.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Mathias and Gertrude (Steffan) Wenzinger, her first husband, Keith Montgomery, second husband, Arthur Deeks, her siblings, Joe (Viola) Wenzinger, Paul (Berta) Wenzinger, Audrey (Elmer) Vorst, Dr. Harold (Laura) Wenzinger, Leo Wenzinger, Carl (Margaret) Wenzinger, and Rita (Ora) Burkhart.

Mary is survived by her beloved children, Patrick (Glenda) Montgomery, Brian (Perry) Montgomery and Lulu (Ed) Zimmer, her grandchildren, Alison (Oliver) Highman, Stacy (Tommy) Bauer, Amy (Pete) Oakes, Eddie (Gabi) Zimmer, Carly (Brad) Inkrott, Ben (Gabby) Zimmer, Brad Zimmer, Chris Primm and Matt Primm, 16 great-grandchildren, her special nephews, Jim (Barb) Wenzinger and John (Laurie) Wenzinger, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and her 104 year old special sister-in-law, Viola Wenzinger.

She lived a life rich in love, family, faith and a quiet strength at 102 years old, she leaves behind generations shaped by her kindness and wisdom.  Her life was a beautiful example of grace, resilience and unconditional love. She was the heart of our family and a comfort to all who knew her.

A life well lived, a love well shared, and a legacy that will continue on for generations to come.

Mary's family will be holding a memorial service for her on Monday, May 18, 2026, at the Immaculate Conception Church in Port Clinton, Ohio. 414 Madison St, Port Clinton, OH, 43452. The visitation will begin at 9:00AM and end at 10:00AM for the service to follow immediately after at 10:00AM.
