Martha "Maxine" Stelzer

Martha “Maxine” Stelzer, age 92, of Bexley, Ohio passed away on Monday, December 1, 2025. Maxine was born on March 9, 1933 to her late parents Lowell Maxwell and Pearl (Klink) Wood in Crestline, Ohio. As a student, she attended The Ohio School for the Deaf. She was also an active member of Holy Cross Deaf Lutheran Church for many years. In addition to her parents, Maxine was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 67 years, Richard Stelzer, beloved son Larry Stelzer and daughter-in-law Kristine Stelzer. Maxine is survived by her two sons David Stelzer and Rick (Kim) Stelzer, her grandchildren Matt (Nicole) Stelzer, Liz (Dave) Skerl, Nick (Michelle) Stelzer, Ben (Katie) Stelzer, Sara (Austin) Flood and Sam Stelzer, and her 14 great grandchildren. Family will receive friends on Friday, January 16, 2026 from 11am-12pm at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026; where a memorial service will follow at 12pm. A private burial will follow at Mifflin Township Cemetery.
