Marilyn Hausler

Marilyn Claire Hausler (1952 – 2023) 71 years old. We are honoring our beautiful, caring, and self-sacrificing mother Marilyn Hausler who passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday, October 14th.  She loved her family dearly as they did her.  She was a hero, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend.  She had an uncanny, unmatched work ethic, dedicating her life and time to everyone around her, having been a teacher for the majority of her life.  She was an avid Ohio State Buckeye and Cleveland sports fan. You could always count on her having her jersey on for game day with continuous text updates on the game. On “off days” you might find her gardening or enjoying nature.  She had her own relationship with the Lord and considered herself a member of Rock City Church. The Hausler family asks that as Marilyn’s last assigned homework you soak up your time and moments with your families; play games, laugh, enjoy each other, watch sporting events with loved ones, eat meals together with fruitful conversations as she is still watching, listening, and observing from the sidelines (as she always did).  Class dismissed; this assignment will be graded!!  Preceded in death by her parents Henry and Grace Eickhoff and her sister Nancy (Mike) Underwood. Survived by her children Micheal (Kelley), Amie, Shaun (Jodi), Kyle (Jaclyn) and Thom (Sara), her grandchildren Alexie, Kyla, Jackson, Ella, Addie, Hunter, and Everett, her siblings Ric (Cindy) Eickhoff, Carloyn (Marc) Mingione, and Anne (Eugiene) DiFranco.  Family will receive friends 1-3 pm Friday, October 20, 2023 at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026; where a Celebration of Life service will follow at 3pm.
