Mable Barcus

BARCUS, Mable M., age 93, of Hilliard, Ohio passed away on April 21, 2020 at her residence. She was born on April 12, 1927 in Louisa, KY to the late Andrew and Ethel Skaggs. Mable joins in death her parents; loving husband Leonard G. Barcus Sr.; brothers Kenneth Skaggs, Leland "Glenn" Skaggs and Malcolm Skaggs. Mable leaves behind her daughter Vivian (Roy) Gaines; sons Norman (Pamela) Barcus and Leonard (Ina) Barcus Jr.; sister Emogene (Harry) Hughes; 10 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Mable had a special relationship with Elizabeth Whited. She will be deeply missed by many family members and friends. Due to the current health crisis a private family viewing will be held at the Tidd Family Funeral Home, 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard, Ohio with a private family burial to follow at Kingwood Cemetery in Lewis Center, Ohio. A celebration of life gathering in Mable's name will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Mable's name to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
