Lorena "Peggy" Lanier Webster

Lorena "Peggy" Lanier Webster, age 92, of Hilliard, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2026. She was born on August 11, 1933, in Apple Grove, West Virginia, to the late Bert and Emma (Hall) McCarty.

Peggy graduated from Point Pleasant High School in West Virginia, then moving to Columbus in 1951, where she later settled in Hilliard, Ohio, in 1963. She was a proud member of the American Legion and retired after many hardworking years from the state of Ohio.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Bert and Emma (Hall) McCarty, her daughter, Cathy Lynn Lanier, 14 brothers and sisters, husbands, Richard Lanier and Don Walls, as well as her son-in-law, Jeff Koch.

Peggy is survived by her children, Steve Lanier, of Hilliard, OH, Kevin Lanier of Gallipolis Ferry, WV, and Connie Koch, of Hilliard, OH, her grandchildren, Jessica Lynn Koch and Kyle Hayes Koch, great-grandchildren, Kylee Nicole Koch and Karter Maxwell Koch, as well as her favorite niece, Teresa Wallace.

Family invites you to a visitation in celebration of Peggy's life on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at the Tidd Family Funeral Home, 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard, Ohio, 43026. The visitation will start at 2:00PM and end at 4:00PM.
