Lois A. Keilholz

Lois Ann (Miller) Keilholz, age 91, of Dublin, Ohio, passed Wednesday, November 4, 2026 at Kobacker House in Columbus, Ohio. Born in O’Neill, Nebraska to the late Ben and Clara Miller, she was educated in the O’Neill Area Public Schools and attended business college in Grand Island, Nebraska. Lois worked for several years as a company secretary. She married Richard Keilholz on July 11, 1955. They moved to West Lafayette, Indiana, Richard’s hometown, and he attended Purdue University. Lois and Richard were members of St. John's Lutheran Church in Marysville, Ohio and most recently were members of St. John Lutheran Church in Dublin. Lois spent time volunteering at the Lutheran Food Pantry, Mobile Meals, Red Cross, and was a teacher’s aide in reading recovery. In addition to her parents, Lois was preceded in death by her beloved husband Richard, who passed in 2025, and her daughter Ann. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law John and Susie, and Jim and Karyn, her grandchildren Emily (Mark) Stevenson, Jennifer (Eric) Thiewes, John Keilholz, Jr., Ben (Emma) Keilholz, and Jacob (Alyssa) Keilholz, and her great-grandchildren Baylee, Everlee, William, and Ashlee Stevenson, and Lilian, Penelope, and Harold Thiewes.

A Memorial Service will be held 11:30a.m. on WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 11, 2026 at ST. JOHN LUTHERAN CHURCH, 6135 Rings Road, Dublin, OH 43016 (614)-889-2284 with Pastor Adam Steinbrenner, officiating. Entombment at Union Cemetery, Columbus, OH, will be held privately for the family.

The family requests the omission of flowers and requests memorial donations be made in Lois’ name to Lutheran Social Services Food Pantry, PO Box 182010, Columbus, OH 43218-2010.
