Lawrence Richard Herrmann, age 60, of Dublin, went to heaven and gained his wings on Sunday, July 12, 2020 after a courageous battle with cancer with his wife Debi, daughter Taylor and brother-in-law Jeff.  Values are like fingerprints, and nobody's are the same, so Larry chose to leave them all over us. He packed so much life into his 60 years.  He had family, friends and children he adored, traveled the world and played golf chasing that perfect round.  He worked in a profession that he loved, and still put one foot in front of the other battling the long and tough journey of cancer.  He did so with grace, dignity, integrity, humor and courage.  For the countless people Larry has influenced, take his memory, joy and fun-loving spirit with you in all your endeavors.  We were all truly blessed to know and love him.

Larry was a Class-A PGA Member with more than 30 years of experience with upscale private, resort and semi-private settings. He oversaw and managed the total golf operations of numerous golf clubs and facilities including Jack Nicklaus Sports Center, Heritage Golf Club, Kinsale Golf & Fitness Club, The Golf Depot, Miami Valley Golf Club and was also the Director of Instruction at Golf Galaxy.  Larry was a member of the SOPGA where he was recognized with several awards including “Merchandiser of the Year-Southern Ohio Section, 1987-1992, Golf Industries “Professional of the Year” Southern Ohio Section 1991, and Golf Shop Operations “America’s 100 Best Golf Shops” 1986. Preceded in death by Father Lawrence William Herrmann. Survived by his loving wife of 20 years Deborah Carolyn Herrmann, daughters Taylor Anne and Beth, son Jon, mother Mary Jean Herrmann, brothers and sisters Carol McConn, Tom and Marjorie Herrmann, David and Peggy Herrmann, Dan and Robyn Herrmann, Dennis and Stacy Herrmann, Joy and Mark Stickley, Nancy Herrmann, granddaughter Makayla and mom Jamie, extended family Jeff and Cathi Hill, John Hill, Sue Hill, Molly May and Larry's loving nieces and nephews.  Larry was truly fortunate to have so many friends and four-somes that we can't begin to list them all, but you know he will be in your heart forever.

We also know how much Larry loved to work, but he would want you to spend time with your family, take a walk on the beach with your loved ones, make a toast to enduring friendships but don't forget to call your wife after your round of golf, even if you threw a few clubs.

Family will receive friends Saturday, September 12, 2020 from 2-6 pm at the Muirfield Village Golf Club, 5750 Memorial Dr, Dublin, OH 43017 where Rev. Long with begin at 2 pm. For out of town family and friends there is a block or rooms reserved at the Home2 Suites by Hilton, 5000 Upper Metro PL, Dublin, OH 43017 (Group Code HCL).

College trusts have been set up for Taylor and Makayla Herrmann.  Make checks payable to BlackRock in c/o Tidd Funeral Home, 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard, Ohio 43026.
