Kenny Shoemaker

Kenny Shoemaker, age 83, of Hilliard, passes away December 23, 2021.  Kenny retired from General Motors with 36 years of service. Member and former Union Rep. Local 969. Kenny was an avid musician playing guitar and singing. He enjoyed boating at Indian Lake, golfing, playing euchre and spending time with family. Preceded in death by parents Herbert and Eva Shoemaker, brothers and sisters in law Herb and Lee, Donnie and Ann, Charles Gordon, Dick Shoemaker and sisters Dora Shoemaker and Lois Ball. Survived by loving wife Jeanette of 62 years, daughters Kim (Al) Cepeda and Brenda (Joe) Bricker, grandchildren Teanna (Kyle) Grote, Annie (Nate) Castle, Leslie Castle, Taylor Cepeda, Kenya (Ania) Cepeda, Fay (Jose) Rivera and Katie (Dwight) Bricker, great grandchildren Soraya, Eli, Nick, Sophia, Ryan, Kendall, Maddie and Landon, special and dear friend Doodie Graham, many close friends and special fur baby Lacy. Family will receive friends Wednesday 12:30 pm- 1:30 pm at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026; where funeral service will follow at 1:30 pm. Family requests masks be worn and will be provided. Interment Milford Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
