Kenneth Earl Evans, age 69, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on June 19, 2026, after a courageous journey with cancer.

Ken was born on September 30, 1956, in Evanston, Illinois. He spent his childhood growing up in Upper Arlington, Ohio, and later made his home in Hilliard, Ohio, where he raised his two daughters and built a life centered on family, love, and dedication.

Ken graduated from Bowling Green State University in 1980 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History.

Following graduation, Ken began his professional career with Speedway, where he served as a District Manager from 1980 to 1984. He then joined Lancaster Colony Commercial Products in 1984, where he built a distinguished career in sales. Through his dedication, leadership, and strong work ethic, Ken rose through the organization and was named President, a position he held until his retirement in 2016.

Ken was a devoted husband to his beloved wife of 47 years, Cathleen Sue (Connor) Evans, and a proud father to his daughters, Betsy (Ryan) Boles and Katie (Jarrid) Harding. He found his greatest joy in being "Poopaw" to his cherished grandchildren: Calvin and Ainsley Boles, and Parker and Emmy Harding. His love for his family was unwavering, and he treasured every moment spent together. Whether sharing stories, laughter, or simply being present, Poopaw created memories that his grandchildren will carry with them always.

Known for his strength, kindness, and sense of humor, Ken touched the lives of many through his generosity and willingness to help others. He faced life's challenges with courage and determination, inspiring those around him through his resilience and steadfast spirit.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents, James and Nancy Evans.

In addition to his wife, daughters, sons-in-law, and grandchildren, he is survived by his brother, Steve (Terri) Evans; his sister-in-law, Carol Bottoms; several nieces; extended family members; and many dear friends.

Though his family grieves his loss deeply, they find comfort in the countless memories they shared and in the lasting legacy of love he leaves behind. His guidance, wisdom, and unconditional support will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the caregivers, hospice team, friends, and loved ones who provided comfort, compassion, and support throughout Ken's journey.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to a cancer research organization or hospice foundation of your choice in Kenneth's honor.

A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered.

Ken's memory will forever be a blessing to all who knew him.
