Kay Frances Ross

Kay Gilkerson Ross gained her wings and was able to walk with the angels in heaven on Sunday, June 8, 2025. Born February 3,1939 at East Lynn, West Virginia.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Clyde William Ross, Mother:Dorothy Harless Gilkerson, Father: Herman Melvin Gilkerson, Sisters: Joyce Russell and Janice Russell, Brother:Melvin Gilkerson and Micheal Gilkerson
She is survived by her Sister: Mabel Hawkins and Tom Hawkins from Hilliard, Brother: Homer Gilkerson and Carla Gilkerson, (like a sister), from Wayne, West Virginia.

She is survived by her Son: Gregory Ross and Sonja Ross from Mechanicsburg, Ohio.
Daughters: Teresa Ross from Florida and Brenda Wooden and Kirk Wooden from Grove City, Ohio.
5 Grandchildren: Scott Davis, Denver Ross, Ashely Jett, April Rudolph and Tyler Wooden.
11 Great Grandchildren. Loving friends: Sandy Adkins and Mary Frazier.

Kay fell in love with her husband, Clyde, and moved to Ohio in the 1950's. Kay devoted her life to her family and a devoted Mother. Kay participated in her husband's Building business. Kay's role was coordinating interior decorating, painting and hanging wallpaper. Kay embraced the outdoors and loved flowers and working outside. Kay and her husband always opened their doors to family and friends, loved to cook for everyone and always supplied love and support to her family.

Funeral services will be conducted on June 12th, 2025 at the Tidd Family Funeral Home, 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard, Ohio, 43026.
Visitation will begin at 12:00 and end at 1:00 for the funeral service to follow immediately after at 1:00pm. Funeral service will be conducted by Ben York. Burial will follow at Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
