Kathryn Simpson

Kathryn "Kathy" Simpson was born on September 4th,1950, in Fort Benning GA and passed away peacefully in Hilliard, Ohio, on September 20th, 2025. Anyone who got to know her, knows she was undeniably "Kathy." She was a strong energy within the family and will always be known for her second-to-none stubbornness.

she will be remembered for having the generosity to match anything else, and one of the strongest people to walk this earth.

Kathy is preceded in death by her husband, John Larry Simpson, who passed on January 11th, 1998.

She is survived by her sons, Derek and Austin Simpson, her sister, Chris Smallwood, brother, Richard Collinge, and her grandchildren, Landon and Parker Simpson. 

A visitation and funeral service will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025, at the Tidd Family Funeral Home, 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard, Ohio, 43026.  The visitation will begin at 11:00AM and end at 1:00PM for the funeral service to follow immediately after, at 1:00PM.  We will then go in procession to Wesley Chapel Cemetery for visitation.
