Kathleen Mayfield

Kathleen Ann Sutman Mayfield passed away peacefully on July 9, 2026. 

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, David Mayfield; her parents, Harry and Frances (Donnelly) Sutman; and her brother, Harry William Sutman. 

Kathy is survived by cherished daughters and their husbands, Kathleen and Manny Garcia, and Kristen and Jeff Maiden. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Nancy Sutman, Jim and Linda Sutman, and Bill and Debbie Sutman. 

Her greatest joy in life was her family, especially her cherished grandchildren, Caroline and David Garcia, and Katelyn and Sam Maiden. She also leaves behind many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends whose lives were enriched by her kindness, warmth, and love. 

A funeral service will be held at Hilliard United Presbyterian Church, 3600 Leap Road, Hilliard, Ohio 43026, with Reverend Katie officiating on Tuesday, July 14th, beginning at 10:00AM. Following the service, Kathy will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, David, at Wesley Chapel Cemetery, 3225 Dublin Road. 

In lieu of flowers, Kathy would love nothing more than to have donations be made, in her honor, to her nephew Jimmy Sutman's Gabba Camp, 4730 McCartney Road, Lowellville, OH 44436. Kathy would have found no greater joy than knowing her memory would help support a cause so close to her heart.
