Kara Armstrong

On July 30th 2022, Kara Beth (Franklin) Armstrong passed away in her home . Kara was born to her parents Janel Throckmorton and Randy (Michele) Franklin on October 3rd 1972.  

Our Kara was an amazing mother, daughter, sister and friend.  She loved her children Levi, Georgie, Hank, Isaiah, and Lily above all else. Her love was steadfast and undying.  Kara's children will always know how much she deeply loved them and she will continue to live on through them. 

   Siblings, Angie (Peter) Strathie, Josh (Ann) Franklin, Melissa (George) DeWolfe ,and Kristin (Matt) Helwig will forever remember her spirit, strength, loyalty, humor and loving heart. 

    So many memories, a lifetime of laughter, tears, good times and bad. We've always known our family's love could get us through anything. We will continue to do so through our collective grief over the loss of our beloved daughter, mother, and sister. Kara will also be remembered by all of her nieces, nephews and extended family. Her unbreakable bond with "her boys” Ty Hairston and Ian Franklin was a testament to her fierce love and dedication to our family. 

      Our lives will never be the same, how could it be with a loss so great. We take great comfort knowing, at the time of her death, she was happy, content and at peace in her life. We love you so much Kara Beth, no one could laugh like you, cook like you, or love like you.
